Dundee United v Raith Rovers (the bias preview)

The new lovers bounce. It’s been a swift transition from Ray McKinnon to Gary Locke, almost like the bounce back girlfriend or boyfriend.

With three wins from three games at the start of the Scottish Championship season, Raith Rovers head to Tannadice with a wave of momentum. The Championship leaders have been impressive from February notching up 44 points from a possible 66 in the league in 2016.

Raith were not as impressive against Dunfermline last weekend as they had been in recent weeks. However Locke’s Young side took the three points after stunning late goals from Bobby Barr and Mark Stewart.
Today, the Kirkcaldy side will be under similar pressure away at Dundee United as they look to make it four wins from four. That said the expectations will no doubt weigh heavier on the shoulders of the men in tangerine.
Gary Locke is sure to be tested in the coming weeks as opponents begin to counteract the strengths of the side. But there is no doubting the incredible vibe around the club that has been steadily growing for over a year.
