Away Days

Hibernian 2, Raith Rovers 3. Great game, great result but most importantly a great day. Scottish football isn’t in the best state in all aspects however days like this give fans an occasion to remember. I am fortunate in my 16 years supporting my local club Raith Rovers I’ve experienced a fair few highlights. Perhaps more lows but yesterday wasn’t one.
Away games are like school trips. A bit rowdy. Often out numbered in terms of crowd and low expectations it’s vital to raise your voice and support the team. A sensational hard working display from your team is terrific and makes for a brilliant atmosphere.
What is special is the people you spend it with. The celebrations, the complaining, singing and finger pointing! Uncle Dave, Kyle, Lucy and Dave you make it so enjoyable to share a great win with. High fives, hugs, singing and screaming with.

Thanks Lucy for putting up with my daft-ness!
