Forgotten Towns

Slightly different from the usual. This Sunday I took a walk around my home town of Kirkcaldy, Fife.ImageImageImage

A walk around Beveridge Park on a cold January day.

Views across the Firth of Forth to Edinburgh.

A few views from the deteriorating Sea wall. Kirkcaldy esplanade hosts the Links Market every April.

Kirkcaldy was once a thriving industrial town.

It’s not the town it once was. It has been left behind whilst the urban areas advance. But it’s home and so Kirkcaldy will always be in my heart.
